For the first time in something like two weeks, the sun is finally shining strong. It is about 80 degrees Fahrenheit and I love it. I'm looking at the forecast as well and i can see that its going to be like this for at the very least the next 4 days. I'll be planning on going outside and playing some soccer with friends probably and going to the river or beach to do some day drinking. I'll also be taking care of my yards since during the school semester I've let it go real bad letting shrubs go out of control and letting some plants die. I might even try to install a new irrigation system since my dog destroyed all of the hoses from the one we had installed a while back. Overall I'm definitely glad the sun is back here in California making the weather seem much more like summer and less gloomy.
Filled out some more job applications and turned in some resumes online for jobs. I haven't received any calls yet though and I am planning on calling in to the places where I've turned in applications already on Monday to try to get an interview or something. It seriously gets boring quick filling out applications during the day though and time just goes by fast doing that. It sucks because I'm missing out on the great weather outside.
Also what I had to do today was try to get rid of my current vehicle. The car I'm driving is a '92 Mazda MPV van and it is basically running on its last few years. Instead of trying to sell the car I'm trying to donate it to a charity to help someone out. I called in to every local goodwill store, thrift shop, and they all told me that they currently don't take car donations. So instead of trying to go do it myself I'm doing it online. I filled out my forms and all I am waiting for is to have them call me up for a scheduled pick up of the car.
Yesterday I did my first "Workout Wednesday" post and I think it went by very well. I got a few good comments telling me how to improve the weekly posts though and I will have to implement them. One for example was to post pictures of the exercises because some people don't know exactly what the exercises were. I think instead of posting a picture I will try to link to a youtube video or a bodybuilding.com video to show the exercises to help give a visual of what I am talking about. I'll also be editing the first post to have links to the exercises as well so when people go back to look at that post it will be more helpful. There are some good seggestions and I will take them into consideration to improve on my "Workout Wednesday" posts.
What are some of the activities you guys like doing during the summer? Me personally I like spending time outside with my friends doing whatever. I could be going to the beach and staring at the waves or I could be hanging out in front of my friends house. Or I could be playing soccer at the park or some other sport as long as it is outside. I like playing fetch with my dog too but hes a bit of a rascal and tends to be mischievous.
