Headaches

Yesterday:
I couldn't find the time to do a blog post yesterday and still keep my sanity.  I am currently dealing with donating two different cars even though I initially only wanted to donate my car.  For weeks I had taken care of what I thought was everything to get ready for the donation of my vehicle except I missed probably one of the most important things for getting rid of a car, the car title.  In the back of my mind I always thought I knew exactly where it was, "It has to to be either in the glove box or in my safe".  Turns out, it wasn't in either of the places I usually keep my things, it was lost.  In order to try and find the title, it seems like I turned my house upside down and every document ever was scattered throughout the house.  After about 3 hours of straight looking in the house, I had the worst headache I have had since I finished up my school semester.  All of this for a small piece of paper that would give the charity ownership of the car.

In the end I ended up deciding that either I had it or my brother had it and since he couldn't find it, it was probably permanently lost.  I found out I could just fill out a new form that is readily available online from the DMV website and still give up ownership.  Now, however, there is a mess of scattered stacks of documents that have to be put away throughout my entire house and it isn't as easy as just throwing it all back where it was.  I have to come up with a better system of organizing things otherwise this might happen again and I will not be able to find something when I need too.  I've always been taught that order is one of the most important things someone can do for themselves and I had forgotten about that until just now.
Since I couldn't find the title to one of the cars, which just happened to be the one I actually wanted to donate, the towing company could only take one of my cars.  The person who was going to tow my car away showed up about two hours early and I didn't have enough time to thoroughly clean out the car before he had showed up at my house.  Luckily this guy was really cool and understood the situation I was in.  He let me take my time clearing out any personal possessions from the car and I didn't even have to pull the car out of the driveway where it had been for over 5 years without being moved.  I even thought that I had to inflate the tires that were flat but I didn't even have to do that.  Thankfully that process was easier than I thought it would be and it was probably the thing that stopped me from completely losing my mind.

Today:
With all of this talk about getting rid of cars I've been going through lately, it feels strange that I am now talking about dealing with a new car.  My mother decided to buy a new car for her to drive which she had been meaning to get for a while.  We had to speed the process up because of the emergency that came up with my grandfather.  She is leaving for Mexico at the end of this upcoming week and will be staying there for half of a month so she wanted to take care of a few things before she left.  Now that she has a new car, she had to go to the dealership again to get an alarm system installed and the process took about 2 hours.  If there is one thing I hate in this world, it would have to be waiting.
With the rest of my day, I took care of most of my yard work that need to get done.  Mowed the law which had not been mowed in a while, trimmed down the bushes in my front yard, and killed off the weeds that were growing all around my yard and driveway.  It was a way of relaxing from the past two days of nonstop headaches and finally a day I got to spend outside.

Comments and Beyond:
It was cool seeing all of your posts on my summer blog two days ago its just a shame that summer isn't here for everyone yet.  Also thanks for the comments on my dog he is pretty damn adorable.  Also I finally got to see how everyone knows how much of a struggle it is to actually find a job for a student during the summer.  Most people in the comments agree that you have to really go out of your way to get the attention of someone hiring to get a job.
What are some of the things that make you guys just get frustrated over?  What is something that just gives you a headache when you only even start thinking about it?  for me it would be having to wait for things.  I'm not really a patient person so when I have an appointment scheduled for a certain time I show up on time hoping to not have to wait.  I also hate when parents can't control their small children most of the time while I'm waiting.  Just thinking about kids crying everywhere and me having to sit there and wait for something makes my head start hurting.

  2. I hate when people say "On a scale from 1 to 10..." and the person answers "11!" or "50!"

  13. I always hear people saying that yardwork is relaxing, but I never see it like that. It's hot, sweaty...getting grass clippings stuck to your arms and you go to wipe sweat off your forehead but instead you just add grass to it. Yardwork...YAaaaaaaaaaaaaaardwoooooooork!!!
